Jean Mertz, our next door neighbor, emailed us that Don had passed away. We are so sorry to hear that he died. He was a fond neighbor for many years. Susan, many years ago when your girls were young, our 2 grandaughters from Arizona played with your 2 girls. We lived kiddycorner from Don and Rita. We used to see them sitting out on the patio listening to the radio. We also remember them playing croquet in the backyard with some of their friends. We are sorry that we will not be at the funeral as we are in Arizona with our 2 daughters and their families, but you will be in our prayers.
